I see Bethany has toppled me from the All-time High Score list for "Are You Nuts?!?"

Wow... 243 MILLION...  What the... that'll be tough to beat.  Me thinks this will take some time...

I'm still safe in the "Easy Peasy" category, but it looks like some of the players are getting pretty darned good with that one!

Hi Eric Woot!
How did you get 80,746,121 points on Block Stomp?
I am still on the demo, until I can get higher points, so far my highest being around 40,000,000.
I use the name Purple, for this game.
I like Block Stomp better than Ruin Rescue.

Any pointers on playing Block Stomp would be appreciated.

LOL, I think everyone likes Block Stomp better than Rune Rescue Infinity... Slick

Tips? I click like crazy in the lower right corner just to get through the first 4 levels as quickly as possible. The points aren't worth that much so not focusing on big groups isn't going to make a difference.

From around level 5 to 10 I start focusing more on how things fall and try to grab big groups if possible.  HOWEVER, I don't focus on that. The goal is to reach the high levels where you start to earn ridiculously large amounts of points for relatively small groups. So just remember that clearing enough tiles to advance is your biggest goal.

I think a lot of people focus too much on building a big group that they can clear with one click for the big points. Unfortunately that strategy seems to leave a lot of orphans and the game ends.

From levels 10 on up, I get meticulous and start moving from left to right along the top and pay particular attention to where things are going to fall. I make sure to see the effect getting rid of a particular group is going to have on the overall scheme of things.

So basically, I don't pay any attention to creating large groups when I play. If a large group does inadvertently come together, I see that as a bonus, but all I really care about and work towards is being able to finish the levels.  As you can see by the scores, those high levels REALLY start racking up the points.

Hope this helps!

That's the way it was for me last week. This week though I seem to be doing much better. I think it's because I lost patience last week and tried to rush up to the higher levels. This week I'm taking my time and getting further.

Well, after achieving such a high score playing the Demo, I am finding that it is not easy to repeat. I generally have to play about 20 games with low scores, to get a much higher score.
There must be a method to this madness  Crazy, of alot of low scores to achieve a higher score.
In my opinion, there seems to be a corolation with how you play the first 1 to 7 or 8 level, to how you end up in the long run.
I could be wrong. Just a theory.
Now I have to beat my own high score and it is taxing, but alot of fun in the process!  Coffee  Excited
