HI.

I bought today Crypto-Madness Deluxe and although i think it is the best cryptogram program around, i think a few modifications will get it even better.

1st- After selecting to play the game not in full screen mode, starting a new game it should start again in windowed mode and not again in full screen mode. Each time i start a new game, i must go to options and deactivate full screen mode.

2nd- We should be able to do all the game using the mouse and don't have to press any keys. Actually that sort of interface in not much used. You can for example put the frequency numbers bellow the alphabet and in place of the numbers you can put another alphabet where you just click on letters or even better, drag and drop them to the empty squares. That should improve the interface a lot. I don't like much always pressing my keyboard when playing it:(
Double-clicking or right-clicking on a square with a letter should clear that letter and you shouldn´t have to press space or backspace.

3rd- Another interesting option could be the possibility to choose the font you prefer. I like customizable games, i myself am programming a Magic the Gathering game and i let people customize th must i can, the back grounds, game difficulty etc... So i think this will improve this game also. The option will be saved also so next time you start a game ou'll start with that font.

I'm a bit surprised at #1 - that was a HUGE oversight on my part and should have been done.

#2 as well would be easy enough. I seemed to have gotten hung up on the idea that people would want to play for the fastest times. In retrospect it was a bad idea because you aren't competing against anyone, so setting it up so you could get the fastest times wasn't necessary.

As for #3, you can create your own custom graphics, use you own fonts, and sounds.  I should put some documentation together on how this is done.  It is rather simple, but might seem a little tricky for those who aren't used to it.
