A word from Captain William McKendrick
«

At dusk we sailed through the treacherous strait,
With songs in our hearts to meet our fate,
North, west, northeast - we sailed boldy on,
To find our enemy at the break of dawn,
From out of the fog came a thunderous roar,
The flashes of cannon fire hid them no more,
We fired a volley - striking their mast,
They knew in a moment they would not last,
To port we sailed home with treasures galore,
Our ship weighted down from the treasures in store,
South, southeast, west - it all went amiss,
A reef we struck and lost our loot into the abyss...
Captain William McKendrick, 1692

Hmmmm Captain McKendrick
Who might ye be?
I can find no record of ya.
Could you be one of the eight scalawags that plundered the Caribbean waters in the 1600's.
Where might have ye hid yer treasure Capt'n? Somewhere in New England perhaps?

Good one Captain Patch! Nice story Eric, does that have anything to do with the game?
