Is everything OK Eric? You sure have put the Hidden into Hidden Sanctum lately. Besides the excellent article you recently wrote, we haven't heard much from you and sure missed having a June Newsletter.

LOL, yeah it's been a bit eventful here to say the least - behind the scenes. I passed on the newsletter because there wasn't much to say beyond lots of planning and 'maybes' based on several opportunities. All in all it might have come off as an overly negative newsletter (it was a rough month) without many definite information. I'd like to say what we are planning (which is quite big), but until we hit that point where we know for sure, we'll hold off on letting people know.  Let's just say I don't want to send out a newsletter for the sake of putting out a newsletter (I hate spam!) and that there are a few things going on with various websites that I hope will pan out. Some of them I am confident about, while others are still iffy. To date, I seen more opportunities fall through than have actually bared fruit, so I've become a bit guarded about giving out information.

I'll tell you this though, when I say 'we' I really mean 'we'. There are two coders here now which greatly expands the amount of things we can do.

However, I'm guessing that most people reading this are mostly interested in PoE. Will it be out by the end of the month? No. Is there a problem? No.  Why? The reasons for the delay have more to do with us trying to make things even better than originally planned. PoE was intended to be self-published with a relatively small game world with lots of puzzles. Because of the overwhelming interest in the title, it was decided to pursue some of the ideas that had originally been axed for the sake of getting it done in a realistic time period. I know this will sound like a standard answer that most companies give out for the sake of putting a positive spin on things, but the delay really is because we want to make it even better and give gamers a more memorable gaming experience.

VERY Excited Yea, the ransom has been paid and the kidnappers have released the Hidden Sanctum team to continue their work at bringing us quality games to play.

I don't look at this as a 'Delay' more like P.O.E. is right  on schedule to be released when you think it is ready. Take your time as we gamers aren't going anywhere. I just look at this as another way to P.O.E........

Oh no! I was expecting the game to be released in June and I broke down my piggy bank and I had to glue everything back togheter and now it looks more like a pound of beacon instead of a pig.  Rolling Eyes Thanks Eric for the news.
